By 2029, Romania will gain 325.ooo new jobs based on digital upskilling. But will also lose 275.000 existing jobs due to new technologies, new consumer behavior and new global challenges.

There is no doubt about how the future looks like: digital, sustainable, globally interconnected and strongly lead by IoT, AI and cutting-edge science.

But there is much work to do in order to make sure  all generations are well adapted to such a bright future. We need to bring just as much innovation in education, training and digital infrastructure so that we can all be winners of the future.

We have over 4 mil. children needing a very different education. We also have over 7 mil. adults needing a lot of training in order to successfully transition to the new types of competences required in the next 10-30 years. And we have over 5 mil. (and counting) retired seniors who need to have basic digital abilities to function and strive in a digital environment.
